Privacy, GDPR and Cookie Policies

Michael Grecco Productions, Inc., (MGP) is a California Corporation located in Santa Monica, California (See address below). This notice provides MGP’s privacy policy regarding any Personally Identifiable Information (“PI”) collected via the MGP websites. The privacy policy also explains MGP’s practices when you provide any PI to MGP, whether collected online or offline, or when you visit MGP online to browse, obtain information, or in the event that you conduct a transaction with MGP. PI may include: your name, email, mailing and/or home address, phone numbers, or other information that identifies you personally. MGP does not require you to register or provide personal information to visit the MGP websites. Any PI that you provide on the MGP website or offline will be used only for its intended purpose. Offline PI may include additional business information, and financial information, or information arising in your business transactions with MGP. MGP will protect your information consistent with MGP’s GDPR Policies. If you enter into a separate agreement with MGP, the separate agreement may contain terms that will govern the use of your PI, and that agreement will govern the use of your PI to the extent that the terms of that agreement may be different from this policy.

 

Personally Identifiable Information

MGP does not generally collect PI about you when you visit the MGP websites, unless you choose to provide such information to MGP. Submitting PI through our website is voluntary. In the event that you do so, you are giving MGP your permission to use the information for and in connection with the stated purpose. Not providing certain information may result in MGP’s inability to provide you with certain services.

MGP does not collect data concerning racial or ethnic origins, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometrical data, or health or sexual orientation data. MGP does not collect information about children under the age of 13 that would be subject to The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

If you choose to provide MGP with PI on an MGP website, through such methods as completing a web form or sending MGP an email, we may use that information to help us provide you the information or service you have requested, to respond to your message, and for promotion and marketing purposes. The information we may receive from you varies based on what you do when visiting our site, or providing us with information. Generally, the information requested by MGP will be used to respond to your inquiry or for services that MGP agrees to provide, and for MGP to provide you with the services you request. MGP may also use the PI for purposes of performing its obligations, or for securing your compliance with obligations you have undertaken, and in connection with the performance of any business agreement you have entered into with MGP that is consistent with such agreement. MGP may also use your data in any manner permitted by General Data Protection Regulations. This includes where you provide informed consent for the use of your PI, where the use of your PI is necessary for the performance of a contract, and or where MGP has a legitimate interest in the use of the PI that poses minimal risk to your rights or freedoms.

 

Email

MGP websites may allow you to send us an email. We will use the information you provide for the purposes of business being conducted between you and MGP and to respond to your inquiry. We may send you information via your email. You should be reminded that email may not necessarily be secure against interception. You may be well warned not to send sensitive personal data (e.g., Social Security number, credit card, or banking information) to MGP via email. If your intended email communication is sensitive, or includes information such as your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number, please send it by U.S. mail. Another alternative may be submission of data through a secure web page, if available, and separately arranged with MGP. Electronic mail messages that you send may be retained by MGP, or may be destroyed by us, at various time intervals. This means that information and emails you send MGP may or may not be maintained for any specific periods of time. Electronic messages may be deleted when no longer needed.

Automatically Collected Information

We may collect and temporarily store certain information about your visit for use in our business to perform our services, for marketing, advertising and promotional purposes, and for site management and security purposes. We may collect and analyze this information because it helps us to offer, market, and to provide services to you, to design our website to suit your needs, and to provide on or off-line contract or business services.

We may also automatically collect information about the web content you view in the event of a known security or virus threat. This information includes: a) The Internet domain from which you access our website, ” b) The Internet Protocol (IP) address (a unique number for each computer connected to the Internet) from which you access our website; c) Browser type used to access our site (e.g., Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.); d) The operating system used to access our site; 6)The date and time you access our site; 7)The Universal Resource Locators of pages you visit; 8) and 8) If you visited this website from another website, the URL of the forwarding site. MGP employees or representatives may share this information on a “need-to-know” basis in the performance of their duties. Such information is only used to make the MGP site more functional for you.

 

Third-Party Websites and Applications

MGP uses social media websites and other kinds of third-party websites. MGP uses social media websites for marketing and publicity purposes and to interact with prospective clients and to engage in public advertising. Social media websites are used to publicize MGP services, and business undertakings, and to engage with the public generally. MGP may also use web measurement and customization technologies to measure the number of visitors to our websites and their various sections and to help make our websites more useful to visitors. In such cases, the third-party application may request an email address, username, password, and geographic location (e.g., State, region, or ZIP code) for account registration or other purposes. MGP may also use third-party websites to solicit and collect PI from individuals. Any PI passively collected (i.e., not solicited) by the third-party website will not be transmitted or stored by MGP and no PI will be disclosed, sold or transferred by MGP to any other entity outside MGP.

 

Information Collected for Tracking and Customization (Cookies)

A cookie is a small file that a website transfers to your computer to allow it to remember specific information about your session while you are connected. Your computer will share the information in the cookie with the MGP website that provided it, and with other websites that you visit. MGP websites link to various social media websites, among which are Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Twitter. MGP websites may set first party cookies on any device that you use to access its websites and these may be provided to third party website. MGP websites may also utilize cookies placed on your devices for accessing MGP websites by third parties.

 

Security

MGP takes various precautions to maintain the security, confidentiality, and integrity of the information collect at its website. Such measures include access controls designed to limit access to the information to the extent necessary to accomplish MGP’s business services and for its transaction of business with you. We also employ various security technologies to protect the information stored on our systems. We also test or verify our security measures to ensure that they remain operational and effective. We use internal access controls to ensure that only personnel who have access to your information are those with a need to do so to perform their official duties. We also train appropriate personnel on our privacy and security policies and compliance requirements. We maintain secure areas where we retain paper copies of the information we collect online and offline. We also use SSL, encryption, firewalls, and password protection for MGP passwords. We hold our contractors and other third-party providers to the same high standards that we use to ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of personal information they may have access to in the course of their work for MGP.

Our website contains links to other organizations, and commercial entities. These websites are not within our control and may not follow the same privacy, security, or accessibility policies. Once you link to another site, you are subject to the policies of that site.

 

Your Rights Concerning your Personal Information

You have important rights concerning your PI. You may withdraw your consent as to MGP’s use of PI (without affecting the lawfulness of the use of your PI based on consent before the withdrawal of consent is provided). You agree that you will withdraw consent by notifying MGP in writing by email at the contact address provided below in this policy disclosure. You have the right to be informed regarding MGP’s collection and use of your PI. You have the right to obtain a copy of your PI. Should you request your PI from MGP the information will be provided to you without charge, or with a reasonable administrative charge if the request for information is unfounded, repetitive, or excessive. Please contact the MGP Data Protection Officer with your request. Their information appears below. You have the right to the rectification of any PI that MGP holds about you that is inaccurate or incomplete. You should notify the MGP Data Protection Officer concerning corrections to your PI. You have the right to be forgotten and to ask MGP to delete any PI that MGP holds about you when a) the personal data is not necessary relative to the purpose for which it was collected or processed, b) you withdraw the consent upon which the processing of your PI was based and MGP does not have any other legal ground for the processing of the PI, c) you object to the processing of the PI and there is no overriding interest for MGP to continue the processing of the PI, d) your PI was unlawfully processed, or e) your PI must be erased in order to comply with a legal obligation. If there are specific legal reasons MGP cannot comply with your request, MGP will notify you of those reasons, and why your PI cannot be erased. You have the right to restrict the use of your PI when a) you contest its accuracy, b) you have objected to MGP’s processing of the PI and MGP’s legitimate interests in processing the PI have not been resolved, c) the use is unlawful but you do not want the PI erased, and / or d) MGP no longer requires your PI but you need it in connection with a legal claim; subject however to any restrictions that may be imposed in accordance with law on your or MGP’s provision or use the PI in connection with any legal claims or proceedings. The foregoing notwithstanding, MGP cannot control the use of PI by third parties once it has been disclosed to third parties in accordance with this policy disclosure. You may object to the processing of your PI where MGP does not have a compelling legitimate ground for the processing that overrides your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is not necessary for a legal claim. You also have the right to object to MGP’s use of your PI for particular purposes. Please note that while you have right to withdraw consent to the use of your PI at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal of consent was provided), and can request restriction to or object to the processing of your PI, you do not have a right of erasure or restriction of PI you have provided to MGP for MGP’s use for lawful purposes or for the performance of contracts with you or that you have authorized that is not subject to erasue or restriction, and may not object to processing where MGP has a compelling legitimate ground for the processing that overrides your interests, rights, and freedoms or the processing is necessary for a legal claim.

Please note that your provision of your PI to MGP may be a requirement of separate business agreements you have or enter into with MGP and may be required for MGP’s transaction of business, and / or its compliance with third party agreements in connection with that business and for other legal purposes.
