Punk Documentary

PUNK is a four-episode documentary originally based on a concept developed by Michael Grecco, who served as an executive producer for the project.

Each episode spotlights an individual era of punk, beginning with proto-punk in the 1960s, and following the scene through the 1990s. The series was executive produced for ePix Originals by John Varvatos and music legend Iggy Pop, aka the “Godfather of Punk.”

PUNK explores the music, the fashion, and art, and “the DIY attitude of self-described misfits and outcasts.”

The show is a deep dive into the culture changing scene featuring original interviews with America’s punk rock icons and pioneers and the U.K.’s most notorious bands and artists.

Each episode is set against a seamless blend of rare and unseen punk rock photos, archival film and video, and a bracing soundtrack of punk hits and misses, with hosts including music luminaries Iggy Pop, Deborah Harry, and Henry Rollins.
